From 21 August to 25 August 2017, the EERA Copenhagen Conference (Copenhagen ECER) was held, where the session on establishing the new EERA Network Gender and Education was held. The network was presented by Branislava Baranović, president of Croatian Educational Research Association.

Faculty of Teacher Education of the University of Rijeka and the Centre for Childhood Research invite you to apply for the 10th International Conference Current trends in Higher Education in Europe, to be held on 26 and 27 May 2017 in Rijeka, Croatia. The conference is organized by the Faculty of Teacher Education in Rijeka and the Centre for childhood research.

Net4Society has published a position paper which focuses on Societal Challenge 6 and SSH in Horizon 2020. To motivate researchers to participate in the online consultation on Horizon 2020, a short document was made which highlights the important consultation questions and issues.

Prof. Michael Apple will hold the lecture “Can education change society?” on December 5, 2016. The lecture will be held at The Faculty of Education of the University of Ljubljana, Kardeljeva pl. 16, at 14.30, room 212.
On December 6th 2016, Prof. Apple will have interview with the possibility of the questions from audience, at 16.00, room 026, at the Faculty of Education of the University of Ljubljana.
The ECER 2017 Conference was announced, to be held from 22-25 August 2017 at the University College Copenhagen, Denmark. The conference theme is “Reforming Education and the Imperative of Constant Change: Ambivalent roles of policy and educational research”.
The abstract submission will be open from 15th November 2016 to 15th January 2017.
